Management of venous disease

Removal or injection (sclerotherapy) of varicose veins, including vein closure technique (Vnus), laser treatments of spider veins (state of the art technology - Candela Gentle Yag). Placement of inferior vena cava filter to prevent pulmonary embolism in patiens with deep venous thrombosis.

Dialysis access

Insertion of temporary or permanent hemodialysis catheters, usually followed by creation of arteriovenous fistula or graft in the arm.







Aortic aneurysm resection

Repair of bulging aorta within the abdomen or chest. Synthetic materials are used.

Management of peripheral vascular disease

Surgery to correct obstuction of arteries of the lower extremities by bypass (detour) utilizing synthetic materials or patient’s vein. Access to endovascular surgery (balloon angioplasty and stenting).
